Blunt probably shouldn't be attacking one of the more popular musicians in the U.K
Being incredibly posh and remarkably privileged is okay, according to James Blunt – who just so happens to be incredibly posh and remarkably privileged – as long as you own up to it. And that’s his main gripe with former Blur frontman, Damon Albarn.
James Blunt's name has become slang for a pejorative word we can't repeat
In an interview with tabloid paper, The Sun, Blunt expresses his feeling towards Albarn in a candid manner, saying: "I was just the only one who didn't hide my accent. I mean, come on, Damon Albarn, he's right up there. He's got an orchard full of plums in his mouth and a silver spoon stuck up his arse."
Albarn found success with Blur, but has been making music with Gorilaz since taking a break from the 90s Britpop group, and is currently in the midst of a burgeoning solo career. His first solo album, 'Everyday Robots', was released on on April 28, and was something he’d waited 25 years to do.

"You could say that I'm embarking on a new stage in my life, but really I could turn around next time and do something else. So it's not a given that I've become a solo artist," Albarn has said, opening up on going it alone musically.
Somehow, we can’t see a Blunt v Albarn musical feud breaking out in the same way Blur v Oasis did back in the 90s. And even that rivalry has subsided of late, with Noel Gallagher and Albarn apparently even mulling over some kind of collaboration.
Good ol' Damon
“I still see Noel from time to time. We text a bit. I can imagine that (making an album together) being a very distinct possibility at some point in the future. But as yet, we haven't really talked about it, although,” Albarn told NME recently.
“OK, we have a little bit. We're talking. It's not anything to get excited about yet. I mean he's finishing a new record. I've got my record out, but the principle of us making music together is something... you know, it would be fair to say we have at least discussed it once.”
