Jennifer Lawrence could be on for a career changing evening on February 24 when she finds out her fate as one of the nominees for the best actress category at the Oscars; however, at the moment she’s spending more time thinking about what she’s going to wear.
Along with many of the other nominees across the board for the Academy awards, Lawrence attended a special Oscars luncheon in the Beverly Hills ballroom yesterday (February 4, 2013) and Entertainment Weekly reports that her current big debate is whether to dress for comfort or style later in the month – it appears she’d reckoning on the latter. “Last time was comfort. This year I’m like, ‘Suck it up. Wear a corset.’ I’m going to go for fashion this time” the star said. “That’s the problem with the Oscars. They’re always at the end [of awards season] and you are exhausted from dressing up. Eating normally calms me down. I remember before the Oscars I was wearing that skintight dress and I ate a Philly cheese steak and fries and was like, ‘This is definitely going to help.’ Which it didn’t because I had to double my Spanx.”

Lawrence also admitted that, in spite of the whirlwind few weeks of attention the Silver Linings Playbook star has received in the Oscars build-up, she and her family haven’t fully absorbed what had been going on and are just enjoying the ride. “It’s very calm at my house” she insisted. “Nobody in my family has fully absorbed it. I can talk about other things than myself, which is great. And then the night of the Oscars, everybody just gets wasted and has a blast.”
