American actress Jennifer Lawrence is looking better than ever in the upcoming sci-fi sequel 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire'.

But the 23 year-old has recently admitted that her desired body isn't due to any miracle workout regime.

Lawrence appeared as the cover girl for the December issue of Instyle Magazine, which also included a candid interview where the 'American Hustle' star discussed her hate for dieting.

The 'Silver Linings Playbook' actress revealed, "During Hunger Games, when I was eating ungodly amounts, I used to tell myself, 'Stop eating, people are going to see this. This movie is going to be around forever.' But nope! I was like, I still want candy and I still want a hot dog!"

However, the thought of working out is far from her mind as she shared, "Nothing can motivate me," and even when preparations began for Lawrence's role as 'Mystique' in the new 'X-Men' film, she still decided against slimming down.

"Then X-Men started, and I thought, 'Oh definitely, I'll work out and diet.' But nope. Not me!"

The Oscar winner also took part in a live Q&A session with 'Yahoo' and when an audience member asked about her opinion on young females struggling with body issues, she got deadly serious.

"Well screw those people," Jennifer exclaimed. "I experienced it in school before I was famous. The world has a certain idea - we see this airbrushed, perfect model and then if you don't look like that"

Adding, "You have to look past it - you look how you look, and be comfortable. What are you going to do? Be hungry every single day to make other people happy? That's just dumb."

Wise words from one of Hollywood's best up-and-coming actress's.

Lawrence will star alongside Australian actor Liam Hemsworth in the highly anticipated 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire', which will hot theatres on November 22nd 2013.
