The Bourne Legacy star Jeremy Renner has admitted that he, like so many others, is not a fan of reality stars.
Speaking to the Guardian newspaper, the action star said that he was sick of "all those ridiculous people with zero talent who spend their lives making sure everyone knows their name. Those stupid, stupid people." Reports on the web on Tuesday suggest he was taking aim at the Kardashians. He also proved that he is not a fan of reality television at all, saying, "I know it's a cliche but I never wanted to be famous. I don't believe anybody wants to be famous" Clearly, Jeremy is not familiar with shows like Geordie Shore or The Only Way Is Essex, shows where the stars openly admit that their only concern is to be in the public eye regardless of what little talent they possess.
Of course, Renner is not the only person in recent memory to have a go at the Kardashians or any of their reality shows likenesses. Mad Men star Jon Hamm got a few things off his chest during an interview with Elle magazine earlier this year. The acclaimed TV actor said of Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton that nowadays, "Stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f***ing idiot is certainly a valuable commodity in this culture because you're rewarded significantly."
