The actor Johnny Depp has bought himself a Norfolk mansion, according to The Sun. The thirteen-bedroom mansion is situated in Burnham Market - a village near Norfolk - and also has a coach house, stables and twelve bathrooms. Whether or not he will live there permanently with Vanessa Paradis and their two children Lily Rose and Jack has not been confirmed.

The couple have spent extended periods of time in the UK before. In 2007, Johnny Depp visited Great Ormond Street Hospital dressed in his Captain Jack Sparrow outfit from Pirates of the Caribbean and spent time reading to the young patients there. He also donated around £1 million to the hospital, who had looked after Lily Rose when she had been seriously ill. She had suffered an E. coli infection that caused her kidneys to shut down and stop working. Generally, though, Depp and Paradis divide their time between their homes in Los Angeles, the South of France and an island that he bought in the Bahamas.

Johnny Depp is set to appear in the upcoming Tim Burton drama Dark Shadows. Burton and Depp have had a long-running working partnership and the 2012 film sees Depp sharing screen time once more with Tim Burtons partner Helena Bonham Carter, as well as Eva Green and Michelle Pfeiffer. The film follows the story of the Collins family, who travel from Liverpool, England, to North America.
