Jonah Hill offered his services in 'The Wolf Of Wall Street' for the minimum amount of money, but ended up earning an Oscar nomination.
Ironically, in film about greed, money and living to the excess, Jonah Hill was paid relatively little for his role.
The 30 year-old portrays stock broker Donnie Azoff in Martin Scorsese's 'The Wolf Of Wall Street', and has earned an Oscar-nomination for his work.
But the quality of Hill's services came at a surprisingly cheap price, he revealed his pay check was only $60,000.
In an appearance on 'The Howard Stern Show', the best supporting actor Oscar nominee admitted that he joined the project for the minimum amount of money they could pay him.
But working with Hollywood greats, like co-star Leonardo DiCaprio and Scorsese, was too hard to pass up.
"I think SAG minimum is something like $60,000 before commissions and taxes," he said to Stern. "They gave me the lowest amount of money possible, that was their offer."
"I said, 'I will sign the paper tonight. Fax me the papers tonight.' I want to sign them tonight before they change their mind," he added. "I said I want to sign them before I go to sleep tonight so they legally can't change their mind."

Jonah wanted to be in this movie so bad, the '21 Jump Street' actor jokingly quipped that he would have paid Scorsese to be in it.
"I would sell my house and give him all my money to work for (Scorsese)," Hill said. "I would have done anything in the world. I would do it again in a second."
"I got to f--king be in a Martin Scorsese movie and I just got nominated for an Oscar," he excitedly continued. "I'm tripping out, Howard. I'm in shock. I'm totally in shock."
