Kanye West interrupted his own concert on Thursday night (13Feb14) to embark on a foul-mouthed tirade urging the media to boycott himself and his fiancee Kim Kardashian.
West was midway through his song Touch The Sky during his gig in Pennsylvania when he ordered the music to be shut down so he could launch into a rant.
The hip-hop star urged media outlets not to give him or his reality Tv star fiancee Kardashian any further publicity, insisting he doesn't want to hear his name mentioned on the radio again or see his picture on Tv, telling the audience, "Ten years of this s**t. If I go to a radio interview, shut the f**k up. If you're on your talk show in night time showing a picture of me walking with my girl, shut the f**k up."
He goes on to take aim at U.S. radio hosts Charlamagne Tha God and Sway Calloway, who have both criticised West on their shows., adding, "You're trying to make a joke out of what we do? Shut the f**k up! What the f**k you do? Everybody writing all that s**t to f**king diss me and talk s**t, what the f**k did you do? What have you done with the past 10 years of your motherf**king life, Charlamagne? Sway?"
West also suggested the public doesn't appreciate his work: "Ten years, we've been in the studio, every night, 5am, we writing that s**t, working hard on that s**t, this ain't no joke. We ain't thinking about nobody. This ain't no joke!
"We think about Shakespeare. We think about Beethoven. What can we make for y'all? What can y'all play on your way to school or y'all way to work? What can we make to make y'all feel better?"
