Kanye West was reportedly more anxious than his girlfriend Kim Kardashian during the birth of their first child and was pacing up and down the delivery room.
Kanye West was more nervous than Kim Kardashian during childbirth.
When the couple's daughter North West was delivered five weeks early last week after Kim's skyrocketing blood pressure put the baby in distress, the reality TV star was allegedly calm whereas Kanye couldn't hide his worry.
A source said: ''The doctors told them the baby was in distress and Kim's blood pressure was skyrocketing. To save the baby girl doctors had to deliver her that night.
''Kim was scared and the doctors had to assure her that even though the baby was early, she was ready.
''Kanye was more nervous than Kim and asked a lot of questions as he paced. I have a feeling it was her telling him to breathe and not the other way around.''
Kim, 32, and Kanye, 35, might have spent a great deal of time apart during the pregnancy as Kanye rushed to finish his album 'Yeezus' in Paris, but friends say he is besotted with the new arrival and more in love with his girlfriend than ever.
The insider told Us Weekly: ''Kanye has been amazing the last few days. Everyone - including Kim - was worried about how he was going to step up, but it seems the feeling of being a little family has gotten to him. They're both totally in love with the baby.
''Kanye was so much love for his daughter. He is so doting and has held her since the second she was born. I don't think he has slept a wink. He just wants to keep checking on Kim and the baby.''
