Kanye West pleads 'not guilty' to beating up a paparazzo in July amidst his plans for the wedding of the century.
Kanye West is having a bit of an up-and-down time in his life at the moment as he plans his big wedding while facing a $2,000 fine or jail for the latest assault charges brought against him.
The 'Black Skinhead' hitmaker pleaded not guilty in an LA court over two misdemeanour allegations after he apparently assaulted photographer Daniel Ramos at Los Angeles International Airport in July 2013. Ramos claimed the star punched him and wrestled his camera to the ground, though footage obtained by TMZ that was taken during the altercation was too vague to show what really happened - only that Kanye was getting increasingly irate about Ramos incessantly questioning him as he made his way to the car.
So now he could be facing up to a year in prison for the incident or a $2,000 - the latter of which, let's face it, is hardly going to put a dint in his pocket. Meanwhile, he's taking his mind of his troubles by planning an extravagant wedding to his new fiancée Kim Kardashian. According to OK! Magazine, a source has revealed that West is 'making a public statement that his wedding tops all weddings throughout history'. The nuptials will reportedly be a 2-week long venture in Capri, Italy complete with Michelin star food (courtesy of his pal Massimo Bottura, according to another insider), a luxury villa and a black, diamonds and gold theme.
The magazine also revealed that all persons invited will have all expenses paid apart from the flights - which would probably make for the second most expensive expense of the whole trip. Stingy!
