It's safe to say Taylor Swift is not so cool about Kanye West's recent comments regarding how she got her fame, despite his claims that his new song was all her idea. She took to the Grammys to speak out about the incident publicly for the first time, giving some important advice to young rising stars.

So as much as they try to get along, there is 'Bad Blood' between Swift and West once again following the release of the latter's controversial new song 'Famous', in which he makes explicit comments about the female star in regards to her rise to popularity. Swift hadn't commented on the incident herself until now, though a spokesperson had come forward to deny West's claims.

After thanking her fans and collaborators, she addressed the issue with typical girl power. 'As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame', she said. 'But if you just focus on the work and you don't let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you're going, you'll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there and that will be the greatest feeling in the world.'

She was referencing the line in West's new song 'Famous', from his latest album 'The Life of Pablo': 'I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that b***h famous'. West went on to defend the lyrics by insisting it wasn't a diss and was actually something that Swift had suggested, and even quoted her as saying 'I can't be mad at Kanye because he made me famous!'

According to a statement obtained by EW, her representative said: 'Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single 'Famous' on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, 'I made that b***h famous.''

West has not reacted directly to Swift's call out yet.
