The Bachelorette Party

Kim touched down in Paris on May 19th with baby North in tow and enough luggage to last a normal person for a six month holiday. Already there was fiancee Kanye who took his bride to be out for some ice-cream and clothes shopping for their first afternoon together in the city. But the fun really kicked off four days later with Kim’s bachelorette party. Kim and her girls started their night off dining at Hotel Costes. The Kardashian clan were all there as were Kim’s friends Britney Gastineau and Rachel Roy. The bride to be gave us all a peek at the celebrations on Instagram sharing a pictured which she tagged the last supper. They girls were then driven around so they could see the sights of the city, taking in a tour of the Trocadero and stopping by the Lourve. They then ended the night at a private party at the Eiffel Tower. Yes the Eiffel Tower!

The Valentino Lunch

The next day the whole Kardashian family where treated to a brunch hosted by famed designer Valentino Garavani in his Paris chateau. Vogue’s Andre Leon Talley organised the event and later recounted the day on his blog, saying that the group dined on eggs Florentine drank champagne. He also revealed that the designer gave a toast wishing Kim and Kanye "much success, a lot of love, and a long life.”

Rehearsal Dinner At Versailles

How do you top a bachelorette party at the Eiffel Tower? How about by having your rehearsal dinner at the Palace of Versailles. The famous chateau played host to 100 guests of the Kimye wedding party the night before the ceremony, who all arrived at 7pm on the dot in a convoy of black limos. Inside the party, Lana Del Ray serenaded the couple with her song 'Young and Beautiful' while outside fireworks lit up the Paris sky.

The Wedding

The couple flew to Florence on Saturday May 25th for the big day, with the ceremony being held at the historic Forte di Belvedere. Officiating the ceremony was pastor Rick Wilkinson Jr.(who is definitely worth a Google) while stepdad Bruce Jenner walked Kim down the aisle. Opera singer Andrea Bocelli serenaded the couple performing a number of songs including ‘Con te Partiro’. Kim wore Givenchy as did Kanye who sported a custom tuxedo. At the reception, guests were able to capture the moment using a special selfie photo booth, while Kanye allegedly treated them to rap during the couple’s first dance. The rapper then also delivered a speech lasting 20 minutes, which praised the Kardashians as “The most remarkable people of our time.”

The Honeymoon

Kim and Kanye opted to head to Ireland for their honeymoon, staying at the luxury Castlemartyr Resort in Cork. So far the couple are said to have enjoyed a Guinness at a local pub and even a bit of mountain biking. The newlyweds are then expected to return home this Friday in order to attend Kanye’s stylist wedding bringing an end to what surely was one of the biggest and most lavish celebrity weddings of all time.
