Kim Kardashian is expecting her first child with rapper Kanye West, with their daughter expected to be born in mid-July. Despite being the father to the child, it has been revealed that Kanye might not actually be in the delivery room when the baby is born, In Touch reported on Wednesday (June 5).

The magazine revealed exclusively that although Kanye plans on being in the hospital when the day comes, he wont actually be there to support the mother of his child as she gives birth next month. An insider close to the pair revealed that Kanye is "very squeamish and doesn’t want to be around blood.”

With Kim, Kanye and the rest of the Kardashian family currently preparing the final details of the impending child birth, it has also been revealed that Kim will undergo an almost identical birthing process that her sister, Kourtney, went through when she gave birth to her child. Like her sister, Kim will have the baby delivered at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and will rent out the $3,000-per-night birthing suite, with the family insider going on to say; “She will have an epidural — no C-section,” adding, “it’ll be the same routine as Kourtney.”

Kim reveled the sex of the baby only a few weeks ago, with the news coming during the premiere episode of the new season of Keeping up With the Kardashians, during which Kim detailed her and Kanye's excitement towards having a baby girl. I'm so excited we're having a girl. Like, who doesn't want a girl? They are the best. I know that's what Kanye always wanted. He wanted a little girl," she said on the show.
