Kim Kardashian has spoken for the first time since the hospitalisation of sister Khloé’s former husband Lamar Odom. Odom has been in hospital since Tuesday, after being found unconscious at a Las Vegas brothel. While his initial prognosis looked bleak, on Friday a miracle occurred when the 35 year old awoke and reportedly spoke to Khloe who had been keeping a vigil at his bedside.

On twitter Kim Kardashian shared a photo of herself and Odom dancing in happier times and wrote, ‘I believe in the power of prayer! Thx 4 ur prayers Lammy- So happy Kendall & I could make u smile 2day God is good!’

Kardashian, who is pregnant with her second child, is said to have cancelled her baby shower that was planned for this weekend after Odom’s hospitalisation. A source told E! News that Odom opened his eyes on Friday, saw Khloé and said "Hey baby," gave her a thumbs up and then went back to sleep.

Kris Jenner has also shown her support for Odom on Instagram, posting a picturing of herself with the basketball star and her children Khloé, Kourtney and Rob, writing ‘Come on Lamar!!!! You are such a champion... I know you got this.... #ourfighter #pleasepray #love #thatsmileiseverything.’

Khloe Kardashian is said to have not left Odom’s beside since Tuesday. The couple were married in 2009 after a whirlwind romance, but they announced their separation in 2013. However the divorce has not yet been finalised. Odom’s two children from a previous relationship are also said to be at his bedside in Las Vegas, as well as his father, Joe.
