It looks as though this weekend could be when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West get ready to settle down for good, with an unlikely source coming forward to present the potential news.

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest has hinted that at the possibility that Kim, who turns 32 today, has been suggesting to Kanye just what she wants as a present for the big day for some time, and what she wants is a big diamond ring that she can slip onto her finger.

Seacrest, who also serves as executive producer to Keeping Up With the Kardashians, let slip that Kim has been “demanding” that she get what she wants (nothing changes there then) from her beau, with Seacrest telling his KIIS-FM radio co-host Ellen K: “I think we could definitely see an update on this story on Monday.”

Whether the rumours are true or not, should Kanye get down on one knee and pop the question (and judging that Kim says yes), it would be Kim’s third engagement. Her first engagement was to music producer Damon Thomas, with the two tying the knot from 2000 to 2004. Her second came last year, when she married pro basketballer Kris Humphries for a mere 72 days, with her relationship with R&B sing Ray Jay, with whom she filmed her sex tape with and eventually found fame, coming in between those two marriages.
