In-demand Scottish producer/DJ CALVIN HARRIS turned down the chance to work with Lady GaGa before she hit it big - because he didn't like her name.
Harris, who is planning to work with Katy Perry this summer (09), admits he was not impressed by the Just Dance star when she asked to work with him last year (08).
He says, "When Lady GaGa first came out, her name rang a bell, so I checked my emails - and it turns out that on January 1, 2008, I got an email asking to work with her.
"I thought, 'Lady GaGa, what sort of name is that?' So I replied saying, 'Nah, Im not into that.' Fast forward a year and shes the biggest thing. But I dont regret turning her down as I didnt think the song I heard then was that good."
