Lady GaGa has filed court documents to recoup legal costs from a woman who accused the singer of copying her music.
Rebecca Francescatti sued the Poker Face hitmaker in 2011 claiming her single Judas was lifted from a piece she had composed in 1999, named Juda. In June (14), a U.S. judge dismissed the case and ruled the songs were not the same.
Gaga has now filed documents requesting that Francescatti reimburse the legal costs she incurred fighting the plagiarism claim.
In the documents, obtained by Tmz.com, the total legal bill comes to almost $1.4 million (£875,000).
