Lady GaGa has asked a U.S. judge to prevent documents containing "sensitive, private and personal" information about her from becoming public in a legal battle between the two people who discovered her superstar potential.
Producer Rob Fusari, the singer's ex-boyfriend, is currently being sued by Gaga's pal and one-time collaborator Wendy Starland over allegations she was cheated out of money she believes she was owed for helping to spot the Poker Face hitmaker's talent.
The court fight has been ongoing since Starland filed suit in 2010, and although Gaga is not personally involved in the lawsuit, she is seeking to have certain information sealed over fears it would cause her "significant personal and professional harm" if it was to be made public.
The pop star claims she and Fusari have a legally-binding deal in place to protect the papers in question as part of a non-disparagement agreement between the former lovers, according to Tmz.com.
