Lady GaGa enlisted the help of a group of superfans to help her unveil the 'ARTPOP' tracklist on Twitter.
Lady GaGa has unveiled the tracklist for 'ARTPOP'.
The singer shared the long-awaited information about her fourth studio album on Twitter last night (09.10.13) as part of an innovative social media experiment with her loyal Los Angeles fan club.
The group of nine female fans created a mural on a bare wall featuring the names of each track, with Gaga retweeting pictures of the 15 song titles in the correct order, before her ''dedicated'' fans unveiled a snapshot of the entire tracklist.
The 'Applause' hitmaker explained on Twitter: ''To announce the ARTPOP tracklist I've commissioned a mural by my most dedicated Los Angeles fans.
''Known as the LA Rivington Rebels, they've been sleeping outside of the Record Plant (my studio) for a month! Sleeping bags, booze & all.
''At 9pm PT they will all begin tweeting pictures of their work!''
Gaga also revealed why the tracklist, originally expected on September 29, was so late, saying she still hadn't made up her mind and was torn between two songs.
She joked: ''Tracklist is late because 2 songs are cockfighting for the #12 spot. I'll let u know which cock wins at 9pm tonight :) get out the champagne.''
Fans were also treated to the video for Gaga's next single, 'Aura', which features on the soundtrack of Robert Rodriguez' action flick 'Machete Kills'.
The superstar added: ''AURA lyric video is coming by Robert Rodriguez' MACHETE KILLS. It is late because I had it re-mixed+mastered. Blame me I'm a perfectionist!''
'ARTPOP' will be released worldwide on November 11.
