Lamar Odom Unleashes On His Father And Defends Kardashians In Long Twitter Rant

Lamar Odom, who hasn't commented on recent drug allegations and marriage problems has suddenly erupted in a lengthy tweet directed at his father, Joe Odom.

The NBA star caught wind of his dad's unkind comments directed towards the Kardashian family as he blames them for Lamar's meteoric fall from grace. Odom takes a stand and in the first time in three months he responds on his twitter account posting a rant about his own father been the reason for his 'downfall'.

In an extended tweet the 6 ft 9 athlete talks about his "absent" father not being able to deal with his "own demons" Odom goes as far to say that the Kardashians are his "ONLY FAMILY that has loved [him] without expecting anything in return".

He is also very honest in the tweet admitting that only he can "blame himself" for these "dark times", referring to his drug abuse, failing basketball career and marriage.

The trashing of his own father comes after, Joe Odom recently spoke to RadarOnline, where he blasted the Kardashians and blamed them for the state that his son is in. Odom Snr stated, "Someone's got to speak out, I've got to do something about this. It's simple. They brought him down. He would be better off without them. Let him go and get his life together. I think the best thing for him would be to have a clean break, divorce Khloe and as a single man try and get his life back together."

Adding insult to injury, Joe also personally attacks Khloe's mother Kris, "The mother has been talking a lot of trash about my son, saying he's on drugs and stuff like that. She's got something against my son, something against my family. Kris Jenner is very negative. She's an evil b*tch. She doesn't care about Lamar, she just cares about their image and money."

Khloe hasn't commented on the rant as of yet but she recently gave her husband an ultimatum, either quit the drugs or she ends the marriage, and according to E!News a source told the website "so far, he's ignoring her".

The NBA all-star's basketball career also hit a rough patch the past couple of seasons as he was traded from the LA Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks and after a below par season the Texas franchise sent him back to Los Angeles but this time with the Clippers, and his below par performances continued.
