Rolling Stone magazine editors and experts have compiled the new 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time list, and Bonham has beaten put The Who's Keith Moon and Ginger Baker.

Fans have already started attacking the so-called percussion experts' countdown, noting Ringo Starr misses the top 10, Dave Grohl ranks a lowly 27th and U2's Larry Mullen, Jr. only just makes the list at 96.

The top 10 is:
