Lenny Kravitz has cancelled the remaining dates on his Canadian tour after he was struck down with a throat infection.
The Let Love Rule singer had rescheduled a number of dates on his current tour due to a conflicting schedule.
But now he has been forced to scrap the rest of his shows due to a bad throat.
A statement on his website says, "It is with great regret that Lenny Kravitz has had to cancel the remainder of his Canadian tour. Lenny is suffering from severe throat problems that have resulted in him not being able to sing or even talk."
However, Kravitz appears hopeful of a full recovery, with the statement adding, "2009 will be a huge year for Lenny with a World Tour that will play heavily in the U.S. and Canada. Lenny looks forward to seeing all of his Canadian fans again at this time and once again apologises for the very unforeseen cancellation."
