Melissa Joan Hart is still in the dark a week after superstorm Sandy knocked out the electricity supply to her home in Connecticut.
The new mother, who gave birth to third son Tucker in September (12), was forced to shelter in the basement of her house in Westport, Connecticut last Monday (29Oct12) when severe winds battered America's East Coast.
Hart and her husband Mark Wilkerson, as well as their three children, were not injured in the storm, but their home was left without power, and she has now revealed the supply has still not been reconnected a week after the property was cut off.
In a post in Twitter.com, the actress writes, "Heading into day 8 without power. Just got an update that we are part of 12 per cent not up and running. Frustrated yet counting blessings!"
The family was able to get a generator working after the initial outage, but the power went off again when the machine broke. She previously wrote, "Generator died last nite (sic). Good friends lent theirs but gas is scarce now..."
