The third album will be a "development" from their previous offerings
Fans of modern British folk band Mumford And Sons only have a few more months to wait before the band release their third album Wilder Mind on May, 4. A teaser tune will be released on April, 27 - Believe - which will be the first single from the LP.
The British band have "developed" on their previous sound
This new album includes twelve tracks from the band who are known for their bluegrass and folk instrumentation.
The career of the four-piece has so far been synonymous with the banjo, upright bass, mandolin and piano and they have garnered many fans worldwide by playing a rhythmic style based in alternative rock and folk.

However, this new offering from the band marks a significant departure from their previous records - 2009’s Sigh No More and 2012’s Babel.
Member Marcus Mumford described the change in the writing, recording, texture and dynamics that can be felt in their third album as "a development, not a departure".

He said: "Towards the end of the Babel tour, we’d always play new songs during soundchecks and none of them featured a banjo or a kick-drum.
"I think all of us had this desire to shake it up. The songwriting hasn’t changed drastically; it was led more by a desire not to do the same thing again.
"Plus we fell back in love with drums. It was as simple as that!"
