When Olly Murs arrived in Boston’s airport, he was greeted by a gaggle of eager female fans, all wanting to get their picture taken with him and brandishing their smartphones, fit for the occasion. Olly managed to land in Boston, despite the snowstorms that were threatening to hamper his take-off in Britain but still got there in time for his performance and chat on the Kiss 108 radio station today (January 21, 2013).

The fans ask Olly if he would have time to greet them outside the radio station and he reassures them that he will. During his informal meet & greet session, he chats with fans, quizzing one about her cracked phone screen; she explains that she’d dropped it when she was queuing for food. Most of the girls are lucky enough to get a peck on the cheek from Olly but the last two aren’t so fortunate. As he walks away, he can be seen wiping his cheeks, with a grin on his face.

A paparazzo asks the British pop singer if he’s looking forward to the performance that lies ahead and he confirms that he’s glad they made it to Boston, when his flight could easily have been delayed by snow. “I’m very much looking forward to it” says Olly. “I didn’t even think we’d get here today.”
