Lisanne Beck and Simon Murphy have been found guilty of outraging public decency at the Old Bailey in London after upsetting fans with a public display of oral sex at the BBC Radio 2 gig, which also featured performances by Chrissie Hynde, Blondie and ELO.

Eyewitnesses told the court parents had to shield their children's eyes, while one festival-goer, Mike Holden, filmed the couple and passed the evidence to police.

The couple was kicked out of the concert and arrested.

The pair denied all charges, insisting Beck was simply attempting to wake her sleeping partner, but the jury didn't accept the explanation and unanimously found them guilty.

Handing out the fine, Judge Charles Wide QC called the pair's behaviour "revolting", and told the couple, "There is no doubt about what you were doing, you must have known what you were doing and you persisted in the act."
