British singer Paloma Faith has confronted outspoken rocker Noel Gallagher and scolded him for criticising her in interviews.

The former Oasis star publicly slated Faith's music in 2013, so the Picking Up The Pieces hitmaker took him to task when she recently bumped into him at an event.

Faith tells Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper, "I love to hate him because he s**gs me off in the papers... I saw him recently and I said, 'If you've got something to say, f**king say it to my face'. He was really stumped.

"But I actually quite like him. I like that he goes to the press and says this person's an a**ehole, and that person's bland, or whatever."
