Despite his relatively young age, Wes Anderson has carved out a niche style of filmmaking recognisable to both aficionados and casual purveyors of cinema alike. His latest effort, The Grand Budapest Hotel, sees his perennial working relationship with many stars hit the big screen once more.

Grand Budapest HotelA hotel manager and a lobby boy

The trailer hit town in October last year, when we got a good look at the huge cast. Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, Jason Schwartzman, Edward Norton and Bill Murray all return to work with Anderson, while big names, Jeff Goldblum, Tilda Swinton, Willem Dafoe and Harvey Keitel all feature.

In the first new clip, Ralph Fiennes' character Gustave H is upset that a new lobby boy - named Zero Moustafa (Tony Revolori) – has been hired without his knowledge; he’s a control freak, wholeheartedly involved in even the hotel's most menial aspects.

An interview is soon afoot to decide if Zero truly is suitable for the Grand Budapest Hotel. Experience: zero. Education: zero. Family: zero. Meet Zero.

In the second clip, we can only assume Gustave and Zero’s relationship has blossomed from sceptical boss-desperate potential employee to that of partners in crime, as the police come knocking.

A brief glimpse of Edward Norton, a flash at the onscreen chemistry between Feinnes and Revolori, and a hilarious interchange followed by a ‘police chase’, and we’re intrigued to know who killed who, why, and how.

And the second...

In an interview with The L.A Times last year, Anderson – who doesn’t talk about his work at any great length, rarely speaking to the press - offered up a little info on the new project. "As you might gather from the title, a hotel figures prominently in it," he explained. Thanks, Wes.

"And it mostly takes place about 85 years ago. And it's kind of European ... a bit inspired partly by Hollywood Europe, and also by some European writers around that time. Yeah. That's a little bit about it. Kind of vague, but ..." The Grand Budapest is due to be released in the UK and U.S on March 7th 2014.
