Bad Mother’s Day for Rihanna – An Upset Mum and Laryngitis

Things have taken a turn for the worse for Rihanna. She’s been forced to cancel her gig tonight in Boston due to laryngitis, and her mum’s expressed disdain for her raunchy dress sense, on mother’s day.

Rihanna was due to perform at TD Garden, but the Live Nation gig has been cancelled due to her illess. "Unfortunately, following her sold out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening." She’s also due to perform in Baltimore on Tuesday, but it is currently unknown if she’ll be well enough to do so. “You guys are all rockstars. There is only one first show, you all have a special place in my heart,” RiRi told sold-out crowd at Buffalo's First Niagra Center. It looks like she might be waiting a while longer for the second show. And things go from bad to worse for the star; it appears her mum isn’t happy with her, on mother’s day of all days. The 25-year-old told Elle magazine, "I’m not afraid of any person other than my mother, but I’m terrified of her. She called me two days ago and reeled me in about two pictures Melissa put up on Instagram , a sneak peek from a photo book she’s making about me,” Rihanna adds.

"She went crazy on me. I was embarrassed. I felt like I got my ass whipped in front of my class at school. She humbled the f*** out of me."
