Singer Rihanna delighted hoards of rabid fans on the Cardiff leg of her huge 'Diamonds' tour.
"I'm finally in the UK, where I belong!" bellows 'Umbrella' singer Rihanna as her fearsome performance at Cardiff's Millenium Stadium last night was greeted with adulation as she smashed out the hits.
Despite emerging onstage rather late, pop diva Rihanna stunned thousands in Cardiff's Millennium Stadium where she entertained all by laying down her constantly chart-topping tracks.
Her late arrival was quickly forgotten as she opened with synthy bass mash, 'Phresh Out The Runway' from 2012's Unapologetic.
On an ancient Greece-themed stage, the Bajan songstress ground and gyrated along with her crew of backing dancers and musicians, regularly treating the crowd to her infamous signature move: the crotch grab.
A blonde Rihanna, born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, underwent several extravagant costume changes throughout the show, keeping the theme of thigh high boots and rauncy S&M wear throughout each to tie in with her sexy lap-dance dance moves that fans copied giddily.
According to The Mirror, the 25 year-old performer expressed her excitement towards playing in the Welsh capital "I couldn't wait to get here, somebody told me you like to get ratchet and party!", whipping the 76,000-strong crowd into a similarly thrilled frenzy.
She finished on a high, blasting out hit after hit in a spectacular finale that included 'We Found Love', 'S&M', 'Only Girl' and 'Don't Stop the Music' as the stage dazzled in an explosion of light that signalled the star had left the stage.
Now working stadiums with ease, the young singer is a long way from her 2005 'Pon De Replay' days, and it seems the stratospheric star will only keep on climbing, from one crotch-snatching performance to the next.
