Downey Jr Tattoos Himself Onto His Body

Hollywood actor Robert Downey Jr recently proved he's his own biggest fan - by tattooing his own image on his body.

The former ALLY McBEAL star, 38, visited the SHAMROCK SOCIAL CLUB tattoo parlor in West Hollywood last month (JAN04), where he got a large inked image of himself etched into his left bicep.

A source says, "It has his face with a body all chiseled. It is one of the weirdest tattoos I have ever seen. It's a superhero version of himself."

Downey also had his 10-year-old son INDIO's name inked close to the portrait.
