Scarlett Johansson was seen leaving the Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, California, on 21st February 2015. The ceremony served as the 30th to take place since the ceremonies conception in 1984.
The Independent Spirit Awards serves as a chance to celebrate the independent filmmakers and people working outside of some of the major Hollywood studios. The ceremony takes place each year on the day before the Academy Awards and often honours some of the same movies and performers that are also praised by the Academy. The nominees were announced on 20th November 2014.
