Snoop Dogg has thrown his hat into the ring for the vacant role of Yahoo! Ceo.

The 39-year-old rapper announced his intentions via his Twitter account @SnoopDogg, saying, "Im takn over as tha Ceo of Yahoo. Need sum of tha Snoop Dogg content ya dig. Nuff Said." Carol Bartz was recently fired from her role as Ceo of the internet search engine company with the firm's Chief Financial Officer Tim Morse taking over as interim boss. However, a message from an unverified Twitter account believed to be that of Morse later said, "Haha Snoop Dog, sorry that position is already filled I enjoy listening to your music." But the hip-hop superstar was not to be out done and replied "My name is alread raisn tha stock price of Yahoo uhearme!! Bout to call a board meeting!"

Snoop Dogg, real name, Calvin Broadus rose to fame in the early 1990s after being spotted by fellow West Coast rapper Dr. Dre. He released his debut album Doggystyle in 1993 which sold 802, 858 copies in its first week, he has since gone onto release a further 10 albums. He is currently starring in new thriller The Big Bang which is the story of a detective who is hired to find a missing stripper but finds his task becoming more and more difficult as everyone he questions turns up dead.
