Take That have been announced as headlining next year’s BST festival at London’s Hyde Park on Saturday July 9, 2016. Tickets for the gig, which will be the first time the band have performed at the venue, go on sale this Friday (November 13th).
Take That will headline BST Hyde Park in 2016.
Speaking about the show, Gary Barlow said: “If someone would have told us in 1991 ‘hey guys in 24 years you’re going to be playing at one of the most famous parks in the world’, I probably wouldn’t have believed whoever said it.”

"The atmosphere will be amazing. I know that between us and the audience, there’s going to be an incredible energy,” Barlow added. The festival began in 2013 and has had acts such as Taylor Swift, The Libertines and The Rolling Stones headline previously.
The legendary pop band have had seven number one albums in the UK and 12 number one singles, selling over 45 million records worldwide. They’ve just finished their ‘Take That Live 2015’ where they performed to over half a million people in sold out arenas around the world, including 10 nights at London’s O2 Arena.

The group, who are now a three piece following the departure of Jason Orange, have just released their new video for ‘Hey Boy’, which was filmed on the streets of New York and inspired by Saturday Night Fever.
