Taylor Swift loves Lady GaGa.

The 'Love Story' singer was delighted to hear the 'Poker Face' hitmaker has praised her as a "great songwriter" because she is such a big fan of the eccentric star.

She said: "I'm a huge fan of hers and hearing that really, really made me smile. I appreciated that.

"That absolutely made my day when I read that because I'm a huge fan of hers."

The 20-year-old star is a particular fan of the 'Just Dance' singer because of her unique style.

She added: "I remember the first time I ever saw Lady Gaga on MTV's 'TRL'.

"She had like a leotard on and I just thought to myself, that's so daring. Her music must be daring like that and I went home and I downloaded 'Just Dance.' "

Praising Taylor's 'You Belong With Me', Gaga said recently: "It's a great song. I think it's just because it's very whimsical in a way that I'm not necessarily whimsical every day."
