Taylor Swift refused to take time off from work to celebrate her 21st birthday - she spent the day in a recording studio.
The country star reached the milestone on Monday (13Dec10), but rather than relaxing she headed to a music studio in Nashville, Tennessee, according to JustJared.com.
Earlier in the day, Swift revealed during a radio interview she was feeling "really great" about turning 21 years old.
She told Nashville's WSIX station, "I don't feel older all of a sudden. It's a state of mind thing, how you see the world, being excitable, staying excitable and impressionable and doing your best not to become jaded or bitter.
"I think keeping your mind and your heart open keeps you young. Things feel really good on this birthday, really great in fact."
