Taylor Swift made a sick fan's dream come true on Friday (22Mar13) by inviting the youngster onstage during her show in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Love Story hitmaker pulled seven-year-old Emma Routh, who has a rare blood disorder, from the audience to join her during a rendition of her track Sparks Fly.
A post from one of Routh's relatives on Facebook.com reads, "Taylor Swift, thank you for making our night by pulling Emma up on stage during Sparks Fly. You are such a beautiful person. This was a night we will never forget. Emma kept telling me, 'I feel so special tonight.'
"When we are not promised a tomorrow with our sweet Emma, every moment counts. You gave us memories that will last a lifetime. So grateful tonight, and that she can forget about all of the pain and just be a kid again."
In a post on her Twitter.com page after the show, Swift wrote, "Oh Charlotte, North Carolina - what a beautiful crowd you were tonight."
