Taylor Swift's famous friends help award shows feel less ''competitive''.
The 25-year-old singer has confessed she loves heading to award ceremonies nowadays because she has so many pop star pals such as Ellie Goulding, Lorde and Haim to party with.
She said: ''That's the cool part about the musical climate right now, is that I go to these award shows and I really do feel like I'm seeing a lot of my friends and the more friends that I make that are awesome and cool and are at these events, the less it feels like some strange competitive atmosphere.
''That doesn't feel as nice as going to an award show and feeling like, 'Hey! It's everyone that I really loved!'''
The 'Bad Blood' hitmaker - who confirmed she was dating DJ Calvin Harris at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards earlier this year - also gushed about fellow musicians Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran who she has become close friends with in the past couple of years, admitting she is thrilled with their success.
Speaking on ITV's 'Lorraine' ahead of her first '1989 World Tour' UK date, she said: ''I think that it's been amazing to watch artists like Ed and Sam to put out their first single and have things hit so quickly and they are people that I am a huge fan of, I love what they do and I think that they are absolutely authentic and to top it off they are amazing people, they are fun to hang out with.''
