After a sizzling summer romance in which they were seemingly unable to keep their hands off each other, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston’s relationship might be on the rocks, with a new report suggesting they are in “crisis mode” as they struggle to stay together.

A source told Radar Online on Monday (September 5th) that the A-list couple, who have been together since May this year but have already gone on several vacations and even done the meeting-the-parents thing, are heading for disaster, with 35 year old Hiddleston issuing the pop star with an ultimatum.

“Tom can’t deal with being a laughing stock and has told Taylor he’s done unless there’s a 360-degree change on her part,” a source told the online gossip outlet. “It’s become a total charade and Tom is sick of being treated like a glorified escort.”

Looking past the breathtakingly poor analogy there – a 360-degree change puts somebody in the same direction they were going in the first place – the reason for the rift is because Hiddleston wants people to view their relationship seriously, meaning an attitude change from 26 year old Swift.

“Tom is just done with it,” the insider continued.

It comes just a few weeks after it was reported in the media that Hiddleswift had had their first “major argument”, because of Tom’s busy schedule that has required him to be in Australia filming his role as Loki in Thor: Ragnarok for the last month.

“They weren't spending as much time together lately,” a source told Us Weekly back in August. “It was hard making their schedules work.”

Nevertheless, official word from Camp Tom and Camp Taylor still has it that they’ll make their official red carpet debut as a couple later this month at the Emmy Awards, where Hiddleston is nominated for his role in the BBC’s ‘The Night Manager’.
