I love The Killers, they rock my world and Mr Flowers will one day be my husband and so it completely guts me to say that this is one of the weakest tracks on ‘Hot Fuss’.

It brilliantly bridges the gap between American rock and British pop and will propel these glamorous indie rock ‘n’ rollers to stellar stardom but it is samey will be played to death on your favourite radio station.

It typifies what The Killers are about on the surface but doesn’t really dig deep enough into their off-the-wall glamour to do them justice.

‘Somebody Told Me’ is a sure hit but it doesn’t have the quality staying power that the rest of the ‘Hot Fuss’ tracks have, particularly ‘Mr Brightside’ and ‘Believe Me Nathalie’.
