Tracy Morgan still remains in critical condition after he was involved in a car crash early Saturday morning (June 7th), which killed one man.

The fatal incident, which involved a six-car pileup, occurred on the New Jersey Turnpike and the man who died has been identified as 63-year-old James McNair of Peekshill, New York.

Morgan, who was travelling in a limo bus when a Walmart tuck crashed into it, remains in hospital to receive treatment for a broken femur, a broken nose as well as broken ribs, and is expected not to be released for the next several weeks.

The driver of the limo has now revealed the aftermath of the crash, and recalls the '30 Rock' star crying for help once the vehicle had been overturned.

"I climbed around and heard Tracy screaming for help," the driver, Tyrone Gale, told ABC News. "I climbed up on the body of the limo bus ... but I couldn't reach them."

"I just remember the impact ... We didn't know which way was up, which way was down. I don't know if we flipped several times or one time," Gale continued. "I saw the condition of everybody and I knew it would just make it worse if I tried to pull them up and out of the vehicle."

Gale has since thanked everyone for their support via his Facebook page, after having a "truly amazing," day with Morgan and his friends.

"I can only say feeling helpless on the highway was very hard to take," he wrote. "There was nothing I could do but scream at times. I am truly sad for the loss of James Mcnair."

Kevin Roper, 35, of Jonesboro, who was driving the 18-wheel truck, has been charged with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault.
