The former Spice Girls singer and her former football star spouse have been married for 16 years and have four children together.

Their careers, as well as charity work, mean they have to spend a lot of time apart, causing rumours to circulate about their union.

However, Victoria is adamant she doesn't pay any attention to the speculation and she advises others to follow suit.

"I have never listened to, or commented on, the rumours about any aspect of my life," she tells Britain's Grazia magazine. "I am blessed to have a wonderful husband and beautiful, healthy, happy children. Yes, we travel a lot with our respective businesses and charitable commitments, but we always make time for each other as a couple and as a family. David and I have nothing to prove. We love each other, look out for each other and are strong as both partners and parents."

The two stars pride themselves on the way they have raised sons Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, and ten-year-old Cruz, as well as four-year-old daughter Harper.

All the kids understand they have an extremely privileged life and shouldn't take anything for granted.

Victoria insists there is no magic way to balance her career and motherhood either.

"Of course it's hard, but I'm like any working mum, albeit with a bit of extra help," she says. "Every mother is rushing around on a Sunday night looking for homework and school uniform, juggling ballet lessons and football practice with work meetings and travel."
