Zac Efron Attends MTV Movie Awards In His Best Look Yet - Shirtless

Despite his turbulent year, Efron obviously still has his sense of humor.

If you’re looking for a general MTV Movie Awards rundown, let us point you in that direction. This post deals almost exclusively with Zac Efron’s abs because we all need more of that in our lives. When Zefron won the award for best shirtless performance (for his role in "That Awkward Moment") during Sunday's show, there was only one suitable course of action. Speeches were pointless, when fans really wanted to see just one thing from the actor.

Efron looked much more dapper at the Oscars, but we might prefer the MTV Awards look.

So he obliged.

Accepting the award from actress Jessica Alba and singer Rita Ora, he found himself at a loss for words. "I really don't know what to say," he told the crowd.

Check out this video of Efron at Tribeca last year - sadly, his shirt stays firmly in place for the whole thing.

And that was when Ora stood behind him and – gracefully, of course – ripped open his shirt. Efron, not nearly as surprised as you would expect under the circumstances, decided to go with it. He took off his button down entirely and flexed for the crowd of (by then ecstatic) fans. He didn’t say anything after that, but really, any words might have just ruined the impression. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why the MTV Movie Awards are worth watching.

Efron was awarded for his turn in That Awkward Moment, in which he co-stars with Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller.
