The world has finally got another proper glimpse of the actual Harry Styles’ real new haircut, courtesy of a cheeky Snapchat pic posted by his sister Gemma.

The 22 year old singer cut his hair nearly seven weeks ago, but has been reticent to share any pics of himself with his new do with 1D fans – but over the Fourth of July weekend his older sibling shared a pic of Harry via her Snapchat account. He’s wearing a blue shirt emblazoned with white stars, and she captioned it: “Independence Day shirt…? No…? Did I?”

The One Direction star had previously shocked his fans when he revealed back in May that he had lopped off his famous long hair in preparation for his first film role, in Christopher Nolan’s forthcoming WWII epic Dunkirk.

There was then the time when 1D fans fell for a ‘fake Harry Styles’ after a fan, Ellis Lacy, tricked everyone into believing he was Styles with shorter hair, when in fact all he had done was a cunning Snapchat faceswap.

It came shortly after ‘This Morning’ hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby revealed that Styles was donating the long hair he had recently cut off to the Little Princess Trust, which provides real-hair wigs to boys and girls who have lost their own due to cancer treatment.

Whoops. #Littleprincesstrust

Styles’ career during One Direction’s hiatus is getting bigger and more prestigious, with the recent rumours that he’s signed a whopping $80 million record deal with Columbia for three solo albums. Fans may have to wait a while for the long-awaited material, which he’s co-written with Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid, but he reportedly turned down big money offers from three other labels.

Columbia is part of the Sony group, also home to One Direction’s label Syco. Styles is already said to worth $23 million, meaning that the new deal, if true, sees him nearly quadruple his fortune.
