One Direction may have broken hearts all over the world after announcing their 'hiatus' next March but, determined to make amends, the boys have released the title of their fifth album and a new song all in one fell swoop.

For some, the album cover of the former quintet’s latest release may be bittersweet without Zayn standing on the front but Made In The A.M has all the hallmarks of another get direction offer and is due out on Nov, 13.

Harry, Louis, Niall and Liam have also given fans a treat with their newest single, Infinity, which is currently available on Spotify and comes with a pre-order of the new album, their fifth in four years, on iTunes.

The boys took to Twitter to inform their fans of their latest release and thousands of fans immediately went to download the single, which features vocals from all four singers and talks about a girl that got away.

Of course, fans also went into complete meltdown as the dulcet tones of 1D started to drip down their ears.

One Twitter user tweeted: "1d: oh hey here’s the album name pre-order a new track & a release date out of nowhere. Us: *screaming somewhere in the distance* #MadeInTheAm".
