Katie Couric has revealed she will be marrying John Molner in Summer 2014, whilst attending Howard Stern's 60th Birthday Bash on Friday (31st January).

Sten asked when the couple were going to get married to which, as People reports, Couric said "Summer!" Stern then questioned her about the wedding ceremony and if he were to be invited. Sadly, Couric turned him down as the ceremony will be "family only." Although she did promise him an invite to the reception!

Molner accompanied his fiancé to the star studded birthday bash and Stern even offered to marry the two of them there and then. Molner, sitting in the crowd, immediately called out "Yes!" and attracted Stern's attention. Stern questioned the banker a number of times on "What's it like to make love to America's sweetheart?" Molner attempted to avoid the question by claiming the two would only comsumate their relationship on their wedding night. However, Stern did not let the matter drop and finally Molner admitted "Making love to America's sweetheart is amazing!"

The couple have been dating for more than two years and Molner popped the question whilst the couple were staying in the Hamptons over the Labor Day weekend last year. Whilst taking a break in East Hampton, Molner waited until sunset and offered Couric a diamond engagement ring, as reported shortly after.

The 57-year-old reporter and television personality was previously married to Jay Monahan but was widowed when he died of colon cancer in 1998. Since her husband's passing, Couric has had a number of romantic relationships but Molner is the first to pop the question.
