10cc's set at a U.K. music festival was cut short on Friday (01Jul11) after a power cut plunged the event into silence.
The British rockers were performing their closing number, Rubber Bullets, for thousands of fans at the Hop Farm event in Kent, England, when the electricity went out.
The sound system flicked back on briefly before cutting out again, according to local publication KentOnline.co.uk.
Big screens at the venue also stopped functioning, but the speakers were fixed before Death Cab for Cutie later took the stage.
Up to 30,000 music fans are expected at the three-day bash, which also features the Eagles, Morrissey, rapper Tinie Tempah and Lou Reed on the bill. Pop legend Prince will close the event on Sunday (03Jul11).
