The Candy Shop hitmaker, real name Curtis Jackson, is currently embroiled in a trial in New York after Lastonia Leviston accused him of leaking a sex tape featuring her with an ex-boyfriend, and superimposing his own face - as his alter ego Pimpin' Curly - into the clip.

Leviston, who shares a child with Ross, is demanding damages for emotional distress and unauthorised use of her name and image, but 50 Cent alleges he shouldn't be held responsible because he wasn't the first to upload the footage online.

The hip-hop star's videotaped deposition was shown in Manhattan Supreme Court on Tuesday (23Jun15), and during the session, 50 Cent told Leviston's lawyers he was not serious when he claimed he had succeeded in making Leviston "a porn star" on the modified sex tape, stating, "B**ch, your baby daddy f**king with the wrong people."

Dismissing the comments in the footage, he insisted, "That was a joke."

The deposition was shown in court a week after jurors were forced to watch the raunchy tape in question on the second day of the trial, which continues as Ross faces legal trouble of his own - he is currently being held behind bars after he was arrested on kidnapping and assault charges in Georgia on Wednesday (24Jun15). Ross has been denied bail.
