The original score from Alfred Hitchcock classic Psycho has been put up for sale for $75,000 (£50,000).
Norma Herrmann, widow of the film's composer Bernard Herrmann, is putting the 20-page manuscript on the market to raise funds to produce a Dvd boxset of her late husband's work, according to Britain's Sunday Express.
She says, "It's such a famous score and means a lot to me. It's the only thing I've kept of Bernard's work as a last souvenir."
The piece has been offered up for auction, but Herrmann is also in negotiations to sell it to the University of California.
