President Barack Obama hasn't changed his opinion on one of rap's biggest superstars in Kanye West - in a short interview given to Atlantic Magazine, the current White House incumbent claimed that Ye was "a jackass" again, three years after calling him the same after West had interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009 for winning Best Video.
This time however, Obama seems to have been a bit more jovial in his proclamation of West, although it's still clear that of the Watch the Throne duo he prefers Jay Z. Asked by Atlantic who he preferred out of the two he even said as much, though he did go on to say that he liked Yeezy. "I like Kanye," Obama said, "He's a Chicago guy. Smart. He's very talented." However, the interviewer wasn't done there yet and asked the question everyone would've been thinking "Even though you called him a jackass?"
"He is a jackass," Obama reiterated, adding generously "But he's talented." There's no denying that West's outspoken nature has led to many to turn their backs on him, tired of his constant braggadocio; Jigga's confident too of course, but his is a more humble approach, whereas is collaborating partner is far more openly surely of the ambitions he's set himself. Some would say that Hova was once like that too, but has now actually achieved his goals.
