In Your Face, Academy! Well, one of the strangest Oscar snubs in recent memory appears to have made the Academy look very silly indeed. Ben Affleck won Best Director at the Golden Globes on Sunday for Argo, which also won Best Drama. The actor-turned-filmmaker will not feature in the same category at the Oscars, though we guess won't be TOO bothered now.
The Brave One: It was pretty eventful Golden Globes by all accounts, with actress Jodie Foster finally coming out over her sexuality after years of ambiguity. The Silence of The Lambs star and two-times Oscar winner delivered a typically humorous and emotional speech, leaving much of the gathered audience in tears.
Welcome Back, Mr Timberlake: It was great to hear new material from Justin Timberlake this week, with the singer-turned-actor-turned-entrepreneur releasing new single Suit & Tie, featuring none other than Jay-Z. The upbeat track is set to become one of only 7 records to sell more than 300,000 in one week.
Are You Ready For Love? It's congratulations to Sir Elton John and David Furnish this week, with news that they've welcomed their second baby son into the family! Young Elijah is the latest recruit, and will no doubt be paraded around at one of Elton and David's forthcoming celebrity parties.
Where Did That Come From, Anna? Anna Kendrick sent the Twitter universe into meltdown this week by tweeting a particularly racy joke about watching a Ryan Gosling movie in a theatre. Needless to say, the post was re-tweeted thousands of times - read what she said now!
Grandpa Sheen! Equally exciting news for Charlie Sheen this week, who announced on the David Letterman show that he is to become a grandfather for the first time. His daughter Cassandra - whom he walked down the aisle recently - is due to give birth later this year.
Due Date! Kim Kardashian finally revealed her pregnancy due date this week (sort of). Appearing on The Today Show, the reality star announced that she is set to give birth in July. Coincidentally, so is the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton. Could both babies arrive on the same day?
Jessica Simpson, Larry David? Is Jessica Simpson the new Larry David? That's the question on our lips at CM Towers. Let us explain: the singer and actress has signed on to star in a comedy pilot for NBC. The show would be semi-autobiographical, in the same vein as Curb Your Enthusiasm. Thoughts?
Video of the Week: Deciding on this week's hottest footage was a pretty easy task. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy watching Adele's people load just about everything on sale at a local baby store into the back of her car. Keep your eyes peeled for the Skyfall singer herself, too.
